Certified Food Protection Manager Announcement

The Livingston County Health Department has had to suspend offering the Certified Food Protection Manager training course for food establishments due to Covid-19 distancing requirements.  In an attempt to assist individuals who are required to be certified as a Food Protection Manager the following procedures have been established: 

  1. Register to take the Certified Food Protection Manager exam by calling the Livingston County Health Department at 815-844-7174 ext. 216.  A $50.00 fee for the exam will be collected at the time of the exam.  Exam dates and times are listed below.  Seating is limited to observe social distancing.
  1. An online training course will need to be completed prior to the exam. You may use one of the trusted training partners provided below or select an online Certified Food Manager training course of your choice. A fee is charged by the company providing the training. Proof of course completion will be required at the time of the exam.

  1. At the time of the exam, face coverings will be required, as well as picture identification, course completion documentation, and the $50.00 exam fee.  The exam will begin promptly at the time stated and will be held in the conference room at the Livingston County Health Department located at 310 E. Torrance Ave., Pontiac, IL.

Exam Dates:    July 23, 2020 – 9:00 am; August 6, 2020 – 1 pm; and August 17, 2020 – 10 am.
